Laura is an accomplished healthcare professional with more than 13 years of healthcare
consulting experience. She has provided management consulting services to a variety of clients, with
particular emphasis on strategic planning and collaboration, from facilitating strategic linkage discussions
to negotiating mergers and acquisitions. She has particular expertise in strategy and vision development,
integrated system development, children's hospital's strategies, governance assessment and design and
physician integration.
She has worked with academic medical centers, healthcare systems, hospitals, children's hospitals,
physician groups and associations.
Laura has also conducted research for the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related
Institutions (NACHRI) on topics including governance, management and medical leadership. She has presented
her findings at NACHRI's annual meetings, as well as written articles for Children's Hospitals Today.
She has also written articles for the Healthcare Systems Strategy Report, covering topics such as medical
staff development planning, hospital collaboration and strategic linkages and expanding ambulatory care
through satellite facilities.
Laura has an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in business
administration from the University of Illinois.
